Life back in full swing!

Start of school is good so far. I've been awake 2 out of the 4 mornings the boys have left for school. My sweet husband has let me sleep when Quinn is not awake in the morning.
Barry and I were able to enjoy a rootbeer float at Xander's pack meeting last night. Life is back into full swing with after school activities as well. I start teaching piano lessons next week after a month break. Life is good! Quinn is growing too fast though He doesn't feel like a fragile new born anymore. SAD:( Barry is anxious for him to smile and giggle. That will be fun.

GREAT Friends!

Some friends of mine and I had a little get together at La Madeleine to celebrate Quinn's birth. We had a fabulous time laughing and catching up. Thanks to each one of them for making me feel special. (Kim, I had some tomato basil soup for you. It was delicious!)

Landon lost his front tooth today. Barry tried to pull it out last night with floss, but the root was still pretty thick. It wiggled enough this morning to finally come out.

Growing like a weed!

Quinn had his first doctors appointment this week with Dr. Kaplan. He is now 7 lbs. 4 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. The doctor couldn't believe how much he had grown in 10 days. He also went to his first soccer game. Several people told us they were surprised he didn't already have a soccer ball attached to his feet. I'm in no hurry for him to grow up. We are having so much fun with him. Last night was my first night to have a him alone. My mom is gone, and my mother-in-law is leaving out of town. Barry has weekend duty, so I look forward to Friday and Saturday nights. I do have to say that I enjoy the late nights and early mornings with him where the house is peaceful and I can talk to him quietly. Quinn is so beautiful. I have been overcome with so much love for all of my boys. My heart is so full of gratitude towards our Heavenly Father for sending me these precious boys. I take the responsibility of raising them very seriously, and ask for the spirit to guide me daily as I try to raise righteous and faithful boys.

More pics of Quinn!

Just a few more pictures I know you will enjoy. I know everyone says their babies are cute, but mine really is cute. :) We are having so much fun. I am sad that Grandma is going home tomorrow. Barry, Xander and Landon are in Austin at a soccer tournament, but they will be home Sunday. Then it is back to work for Barry and the boys and me at home. Wish me luck.

Quinn David Shelton

He is finally here. It was a great delivery despite a few hiccups. We are home now. Here are a few pics to hold you over until we can add a slide show with more 14 million dollar pictures. Remember that I deserve 90 % of the proceeds you may earn from selling these photos. Love to everyone! Ours hearts are full right now with so much gratitude and love to our Heavenly Father for Quinn's safe arrival. He is a dream, and I can't wait for all of you to meet him.
